_The Doctor__
where do I find the sync in and sync out ports on this... also why not add to your drum machine requests, you simply must ask for a JUNO 60 synth to go along with 'em! You will instantly be transported back to a time when there was a sound and talent to making some d*mn fine music.. I don't need to be transported back though... I still listen to 80's music... and for today I wish Depeche Mode would stop trying to recreate the sounds, please just find the old devices and have at it already! Phaeron notes sync and tape use... http://atariage.com/...mate/?p=3915249 everyone's got a friend with a studio these days... http://www.philrees....ts/tapesync.htm see where this is going? Roland DIN sync... easy to mix up the cords.. that's why some companies put sync jacks for DIN sync separated from the midi connectors.... some other things people encounter and do to deal with getting sync and trigger for the midi fun.... but it's best for timing and money to already have something to do all internally http://synthhacker.b...to-trigger.html Edited December 19, 2017 by _The Doctor__

Sikor
simply M.A.D. (Midi Atari Device) or better M.A.D. 2017 (or 2018 - year of final project).
ivop
@_The Doctor__, as explained earlier in this thread, I have opted to not include the sync/triggers because they are mostly obsolete, are only supported by MIDI Track (which is unusable ATM because of no manual) and if somebody, somewhere, really need it, it can easily be accomplished with the joystick port. F#READY
What about 'MIA'. Midi Interface Adapter or Midi Interface Atari.
_The Doctor__
Forgot you said that was to be the case... a simple diagram of a joystick cord to come with? Sleep would help with memory, at least that's what I'm going with... Edited December 19, 2017 by _The Doctor__

ivop
MIDI One More and more I am leaning towards MIDI Muse, or maybe MIDI Muse 2018. I don't think you can name anything music or synth related after Vangelis. BTW also don't forget Aphrodite's Child.
Level42
Aphrodite's Child. Yes yes yes.....brilliant that is it !!!!! Call it Aphrodite's Child !!!!! _The Doctor__
MIDI Melody 1 MIDI Muse 3 MIDI Aria 2 Rankings generated from Atari Age, Younglings, College students, and Musicians. All others had objections or flat out dislikes to them. These are the ones every person liked and felt good with. Sure hope this helps, I'm finished... no more texting, calling, asking, polling, or general chit chatting. I like em all. Melody and Aria covers the MIDI along with the sound chip and are centered on music, muse a goddess inspiring thought about almost anything. That's all the feedback I have, Good stuff Edited December 21, 2017 by _The Doctor__

Spaced Cowboy
So there's lots of speculation and suggestion on naming, but is there any news on when it'll be around ?
Kyle22
How about "SynthFace" or "AtariSynth" or simply just "Orchestra"? No matter the name, how much will a final version product cost? Shipped to Pittsburgh, PA, USA? This info will not only help me, but other Atarians in the general area as well. Thanks.
