+LS650
I agree - a very good emulator. Just installed this on my Win10 laptop and tried a few ROMs; it seems to run great. Edited December 21, 2017 by ls650
Jetboot Jack
Awesome - thanks for the update - love this emulator, use it a lot on my Mac! One question -are you aware of an issue with the Caverns of Mars (XL Conversion by Classics) rom - there are 8 black dashes across the screen, this is present in the previous version of the emulator too. The same Rom does into show this visual issue under OpenEmu. sTeVE
Orionsangel
This emulator has the best TV effect I have ever seen in an emulator. I grew up with CRT TVs and I played Atari 5200 on them. It's very accurate and brings me back to the 80's.
eegt97
All, thanks for the comments, much appreciated. Jetboot, I was not aware of the issue with Caverns of Mars, I will take a look at that, thanks for letting me know. Also, there is an issue with the database for fresh installs (upgrades are ok). You will get crappy sound and/or it will crash. I am working on a fix for this. In the meantime, if you want to run it, you will have to completely uninstall (including configuration) and install 0.7.1. Run it once. Then you can upgrade to 0.8.0 and it should work. Sorry about the issue. I'll post when the fix is out. -Brian

I was going crazy trying different audio and video settings. Reverted back to an older version and no issues. Looking forward to the fix update.
