Macaco Espacial
I'm trying to burn a 4k game into a NMC27C32BQ using the TL866CS EPROM Programmer. When I try to program/verify through the software MiniPro 6.60 it keeps telling me that the address buffer value is diferent from the chip value. What is pretty obvious because the chip is blank and I am trying to put some code on it. But doesn't let me burn the file. Does everyone had used this set before (NMC27C32B + TL866CS + MiniPro 6.60)? I think I am missing some flag somewhere or using the wrong kind of EPROM.
CPUWIZ
Very few programmers can program those chips, NMC chips with a Q suffix of all kinds are problematic. You should try a different kind of EPROM.
Macaco Espacial
Good to know. Can you suggest an afordable 4k memory chip compatible?
CPUWIZ
I think the most common ones are from Texas Instruments (TMS2732), you can also find AMD2732's pretty easily. I would check ebay, not arcade dealer websites, they are way over priced.
CPUWIZ
The ST ones are common too. https://www.ebay.com/itm/20Pcs-M2732a-M2732a-2F1-Eproms-St-New-Ic-X/232595175865?hash=item3627c0b9b9:g:DSYAAOSwXeJYHbBv If you don't mind waiting, China is the place.
