Pheonix
32K RAM pulled working from a TI-99/4A Peripheral Expansion Box. Includes manual. Also have a non-working Flex Cable Interface. I'm told it is "probably" an easy fix (replace a couple of chips and capacitors.) Don't have the ability to do this myself as my hands are not steady enough for the solder work. I do own a cat, so apologies, but please expect some cat dander 32K RAM card: Asking $50 plus shipping & PP fees. SOLD Flex Adapter: Asking $20 plus shipping & PP fees. SOLD Will consider reasonable offers. Edited May 7, 2018 by Pheonix
digdugnate
bump- surely there's a TI-er out there that needs these.
Opry99er
Likely whats wrong with the Flex is just the buffer ICs. Thats a 20 minute and $4 fix, if someone were so inclined to do so. With our equipment slowly failing on us, these would make nice backups for your current equipment. I have multiples, so this sale isnt for me, but its a good deal on the flex card in particular, unless there is something else severely wrong with it (somewhat unlikely). That's pretty much what I was told. But the chips are soldered in (not socketed,) I have Parkinson's so my hands are nowhere near steady It was also, literally, a case of the card was working fine, I turned off the system. The next day, turn system on, and I get a constant beep and the system won't even turn on. Turn off the PEB and it boots up fine. Ended up buying a replacement flex cable. Pheonix
Something's come up & I need the funds... So, for a limited time, offering a discount... RAM $35 & Flex Cable $10 (plus shipping & PP fees.) Once this is taken care of (other items on other sites I'm discounting as well,) the prices will go up to normal. Prices are fair as they are, but I'm sort of against a wall right now
