sanny
I remember a program for the C64 (I think it was called "lettermaker"), where you could type some text, edit it, and save the result to a program. When the program was run, your typing and editing was displayed, along with background music. Does a similar program exist for the Atari? regards, chris
Mr.Bacardi
Not sure if this is what you need, but you can check out "Ghost Editor" for example (http://mrbacardi.000space.com/tools/Ghost_Editor_V1.2.zip). Examples of text with music can be found here: http://atariage.com/forums/index.php?app=core&module=attach§ion=attach&attach_id=27999 Edited May 9, 2018 by Mr.Bacardi

Hmm, this seems to be a "standard" editor. The README seems to be polish, so I don't know if it has an option to do what I want. As example, I used "LetterMaker IV" on the C64, to show a small example of what I'm looking for. Attached are a C64 program file and a movie of it. Inside of the ZIP. The forum didn't let me upload *.avi or *.prg files. Stupid restriction... regards, chris lettersample.zip
miker
One of some of those programs is Face Noter. Prepare text, fonts (8x8) and music (some old composers are supported incl. Future Composer, Black Magic Composer or Chaos music Composer), save your work et voilla! Produces something like this one: https://demozoo.org/productions/111617/(note: resulting file is quite big ~30kB). sanny
The linked example (QUAST96I.ZIP) still isn't exactly what I'm looking for. It shows text with bg music, but the complete text screen by screen. I want to see the typing of the text...
