Jaguar 2 Button

I guess folks will try anything....I've e-mailed the seller on the BIWN button to see how he acquired it...but this Jaguar 2 one answers my question....  What do you think the odds are that he just made these?  Pretty high I bet!

The photo is so blurry and small that I can't tell what the heck that thing is.

It looks suspicious, 'cause the Jag2 was never really shown in public, so why would Atari make badges for it?

My thoughts exactly. It looks like that pic that is floating around all over the internet. I'll post the sellers reply here....if he replies...

Very honest guy, I like that....Here's his response:

"Hi Mr. Jason,

Thanks for the email regarding the button auction. I had the Black Noise White Ice and the Jaguar 2 button custom made by a local manufacture.Very little profit can be made due to the fact I didn't order in bulk. I just thought someone would like to own a real unique item.

Best Regards,

Jerry"

Sounds like an honest fellow. Glad to see he's not trying to claim it's some rare atari history museum piece!

What was the Jaguar 2 supposed to be about? Would be like double the bits(128bits) or would it combine JagCD and the Jag itself or what? I'm pretty clueless on the Jaguar so some background info would be appreciated.
