Razzie.P
Has anyone compiled a simple romset for use with the Harmony Cart that only includes released games with no duplicates? I've found a couple of "complete" rom sets, including the impressive set that Rom Hunter has put together, but I was hoping for something that only had the few hundred games released for the system, no duplicates, diagnostic roms, or demos. Having a complete set is great, but when it ends up being 500+ pages to scroll through on the cart, it makes it a bit rough if you're just wanting to play a game towards the end of the alphabet. Thanks in advance for any info!
Keatah
This is the time to curate and compile your own personalized set, with exactly what you want. Understand that there are more than 500 unique individual games. So maybe you need to break it up across several memory cards. Swami
Or folders...1500 files divided into 30 folders alphabetically gives you only 50 files per folder. It may take a couple hours, but then you're set. Most people divide homebrews in a separate folder from retail. You can divide the homebrews alphabetically for the old ones and add new ones to the given letter or some people add new ones to folders by the year. Sort them all on your PC them load them onto your card. Has anyone compiled a simple romset for use with the Harmony Cart that only includes released games with no duplicates? I just use the search engine in Emulator Stella, and locate a game by typing the first letters of the name. I understand that you won't have that feature in Harmony, so, why not make a folder of favorites? Which brings me to the suggestion, why not have Harmony Cart do basic searching via hi-score initial style, like at the end of an arcade game? Instead of saving initials, you're searching for games that begin with or contain your text.
+DrVenkman
Archived, curated, de-duped, sorted by PAL, NTSC, NTSC conversions of PAL originals, organized alphabetically and/or by publisher … Rom Hunter works very hard at this and it's updated every year or so as necessary. One and done. You're welcome.

One and done. You're welcome. Well, I thought I had already checked those, but I was mistaken. That's exactly what I was hoping for, thank you! 80s_Atari_Guy
Is there a zipped-up release of all the homebrew released ? Obviously, only homebrew that was freely available, not commercial.
Arenafoot
Is there a zipped-up release of all the homebrew released ? Obviously, only homebrew that was freely available, not commercial. Not that I know of. I did make the ROM pack for the AFP with 1001 working ROMs, but that includes released games, hacks and homebrews. If I had the time (outside of writing the homebrews books), I would compile a ROM set with what I already have, which is everything that is listed on "The List" (see link in my sig below).
