Why does Atari Karts have a Rarity 8 rating ?

its a great and fun game to play, and one of there releases that came out as the Jag was goin under. Not many copies were released as those others you mentioned, i dont think. Its a hard game to come across. Ad as far as those cases being sold, im sure its from a company that bought in bulk and either them or soemone who bought it cheap from them just wants to get rid of it and dont know how valuable the game really is :)

It looks like it was a quite common game in Europe unlike in the US.

1 or 2 years ago you could buy brand new Atari Karts cartridges for 5€ in France. I'm pretty sure it was also the case in other european countries, so this may explain why you can find that many games on EBay with still a rarity rating of 8.
