+laz455
So besides the obvious answers to this topic like the sony trinitron crt and studio monitor types. I ask what's out there that has a small footprint in size, I would think 24" minimum screen size. I already have a 24" samsung crt flat screen bought it new like in '03 around there I was looking at some pictures from last year's game expo in Portland and saw these TV's can someone tell me what they are, I think they look great and perfect size from the back. Flojomojo
The gxTV -- little CRT box with big flip open speakers -- should be a contender. It's from twenty years ago but should be somewhat easy to find. https://killscreen.com/articles/revisiting-gxtv-television-gamers-1997/
AtariLeaf
A Commodore 1702 is great. Not a TV but it has a great picture and you can easily pair it with a VCR for RF only consoles.
Flojomojo
What's the audio like on the Commodore monitors? Can you play it loud?
AtariLeaf
Seems pretty loud to me but I'm not the best judge as I don't generally like playing games really loud but it seems like it can get up there.

FOX2600
Composite (or RF) on a CRT is pure beauty. The more we upscale the further we get from that authentic look and what we grew up with. Makes me nostalgic, thats just me though guess I like crappy video quality lol
ClassicGMR
I have a GXTV. It is nice but has only composite and RF inputs. I had a GX but sadly it died. I loved the system though! Crisp and sounded great.

Assuming it's not a HD CRT, your Samsung should be excellent. You probably won't get better than that for casual retro gaming unless you go the PVM route. Those displays in that photo you attached in your original post, those look like LCD panel displays. Your games will not look good on them, especially not compared to the flat screen CRT you have now.
