I have around 60 Betamax tapes waiting to be viewed and my last player finally went off to Betamax heaven. PM me if you have one for sale or gift! Grig Posted October 20, 2018 Author Share Posted October 20, 2018 It's possible to have your old machine repaired- what's wrong with it? The eject mechanism is literally broken. The plastic parts broke and at least one of the cogs with teeth will not catch to spit the tape out/take it in. The video output sometimes will not put out a picture even when cleaned and the mechanical parts when pressing "Play" do not do everything they should do.
