Rom Hunter
Can't help you there. This is all I got and I got it from you:http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-swordquest-fireworld_25680.htmlIt would be fantastic if you could dump the ROM for VCS games history sake. jhd
What are the differences between the competition version and the original release? I assume that it is shorter/easier.
Supergun
I believe it changed the locations of the items and/or which rooms they had to be placed in to reveal the clues and finish the game. Think of game 3 in Adventure. Only 100 times harder & with far less fun & reward.
Crimefighter
I thought the PAL version was the contest version....
RecordManiac12
What are the differences between the competition version and the original release? I assume that it is shorter/easier. It was not shorter or easier. The The action sequences were the same and the room layout was the same. The objects had to be placed into different rooms than in the original. The onscreen clues were not page and panel numbers, but were the clue number. The written clues were given to us on type written 8 1/2 x 11 pieces of paper. I have never played the PAL version and I don't know how to dump the cart. I have been hoping that one of the other semi-finalists would have copy of those type written clues tucked away somewhere.
