RSS Bot
My sister bought Red Dead Redemption 2 for me as an early Christmas present since I have to keep spending so much time in bed and the game was pretty good until I got to chapter 4. You already had to walk painfully slow in camp, but chapter 4 is when there are many spots where you have to walk really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really slow for various reasons and there doesn't seem to be a way to skip it. I don't understand why it seems like just about every modern game I have played has had at least one section where the player must walk slowly for way too long (usually while the character is drugged). I can't be the only person who has complained about slow motion walking in games such as Batman: Arkham Asylum and Far Cry 3, but these idiotic game designers keep putting it in. Can you find even one human on this planet who actually likes to walk in super slow motion when playing a video game? I'm at a spot in RDR2 where I'm supposed to walk in super slow motion until I get out of a large city. No thanks. Maybe I can put a rubber band on the controller and have it auto-walk for the 300 years it will take? If not, I'll probably load a saved game before chapter 4 and squeeze all of the sandbox fun out of it that I can. I send out a curse to all game designers who put super slow motion walking in their video games. May their testicles (or chesticles) become swampy and develop an itchy rash that won't ever go away.
