tkarner
Wondering if I can buy a few somewhere. The MediaFile (or Media-File or mediafile or maybe even Mediaphile or some other variation) was a storage cabinet for game cartridges. It was a black plastic drawer type thing that was stackable. The beauty of it was that the slots in the base of the drawer were molded in such a way that it held 20 Atari 2600 carts, Intellivision carts, Odyssey2 carts, audio cassettes, or 10 VHS; or any combination. It would be the perfect storage solution to any classic game collection. Since it's stackable you can get any number of them and neatly store all your games. Unfortunately when I first saw it in a store in 1982 I only had 18 games so I bought only one. I haven't seen them ever since. I'd attach a photo but I don't have it anymore. It's at my folks house, still being used to store VHS and audio tapes as far as I know. Maybe I can beg/borrow/steal it back from them the next time I visit, though only one won't do me much good nowadays. That's why I'm posting now, I'd like to find about five more of them.
