GingerDave
Hi all, Firstly, this is my first post so.... Hi Does anyone know if there are any plans for European distribution of the Flashback 9 or the Atari type Flashback Blast consoles in Europe? The previous AT Games consoles had pretty good availability, at least in the UK. Thanks!
Flojomojo
I wonder why http://funstock.co.ukdoesn't seem to have them?
GingerDave
Yeh, I've used FunStock before, and always had a good experience with them. They seemed to stock all of the AT Games devices before. Could it be possible that there is some kind of 'Atari exclusivity' in Europe for these retro devices that now, and it belongs to another company (Blaze)? Are the two Blaze consoles below for sale in the US? https://www.funstockretro.co.uk/atari-retro-handheld https://www.funstockretro.co.uk/atari-retro-tv-joystick Edited December 29, 2018 by GingerDave
carlsson
I had not paid attention to whether the latest AtGames products were available or not, but after a brief look online I come to the same conclusion: so far neither of them seem to be available over here. Perhaps the supply of other mini/retro/classic systems is so great, and the actual demand is so limited that many of the resellers can't bother to import the Flashback devices anymore as they'll just sit on the shelves until they have to have a discount sale 6 months from now? I personally know several smaller resellers who used to have both the Atari and Sega models, up to Flashback 8 Gold but currently they seem to focus on the PlayStation Classic, THEC64, Neo Geo Mini and the reissues of the Nintendo retro consoles. Merowech
Seems to be more a UK specific Problem. In Germany the FB 9 Gold and three of the blast products are available at LIDL online: FB9: https://bit.ly/2EVFnBb Legends FB Blast Space Invaders: https://bit.ly/2Aq8IRb FB Blast Asteroids: https://bit.ly/2CHgkAg Bandai/Namco FB Blast: https://bit.ly/2StA1B5 The FB9 is available from other resellers as well but the LIDL offer has the best price (way too expensive anyway) Edited December 31, 2018 by Merowech
