Repair help? Fuzzy picture

I have a 2600Jr with a fuzzy picture. It looks like really bad RF interference rolling on the screen.

 

The TV, power supply, RF cable, and switchbox all work OK with another unit, so they're not the problem.

 

I took the unit apart and there was some brown goo on the PCB. I cleaned it off and it helped some. I think it might have been Coke. Any idea what parts this might be affecting? Caps?

 

I did the composite video mod & the picture is a little better using that output, but still not as clear as my other unit with RF output.

 

Any ideas? There don't seem to be any resources on the web for debugging problems on the PCB other than bad connectors or switches.
