How many drives could Ultima use?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I seem to remember using three drives with one of the Ultima games. Am I loosing it

or was this true? Also where there any other games that could use more than two floppy drives?

I think only 2, and I don't even recall if U1 & U2 used more than one or not, I'll have to check again, but I know U3 does for sure and I'm pretty sure U4 uses 2 drives too. It's possible that U3 and U4 use more than 2, I've had anywhere from 1-4 floppy drives on my Atari over the years, I currently have 2 on my 1200XL and 1 on my 800, and one that needs a PSU, but I could hook up 3 to 1 computer and see if they use more than 2. Alternate Reality The Dungeon will look for and use upto 4 drives, and 48-128K of memory, but I think AR City only used 2 drives max and 48-64K memory.
