that80sgame Posted April 29, 2002 Share Posted April 29, 2002 i got the adaptor to play 2600 game on my 5200 but either im not turning the correct ones on or it wont play with my old 4 port. Heres my story, read on if you care. My dad won my 5200 at a firemans festival it was second prize it came with super breakout, i never had pac man for a long time. My only christmas present one year was pole position it was 50 dollars. As atari went under i couldnt find games anymore. in 89 i went to california and a toys R us has some stuff so i used my vacation money(i was 16) and bought it all, including a competition pro joystick. now with ebay my collection has grown including a gremlins i just got. onklsven75 Posted April 29, 2002 Share Posted April 29, 2002 The 2600 adapter will only work on 2 port 5200 systems, and the later 4 port systems with the * in the serial code.
