PacManPlus
The A800 emulator was released for the GP32!! (It's supposed to run 5200 games as well - I haven't tried that part of it yet): http://www.scrameta.net/a800.html There's already going to be another update to it tonight... So far it looks really cool EDIT: This might actually belong in the 'Emulation' section... I always think of these things *after* I post
IceCold
that is like the coolest thing I've heard in a long time, because I'm supposed to have a gp32 coming in the mail to my house very soon.
Zloch
Silly newbie question. What is the GP32? Sean
WaverBoy
Wow...it sounds pretty cool!!! Check out this writeup on it: http://www.gbax.com/gp32review.html So, what I want to know is, do you need special emulators for this, or can you use PC Atari, JNES, VirtuaNES, GENS (Sega Genesis), eSMS (Sega Master), and, last but not least, MAME? PacManPlus
Yes, you need special emulators for this (it's not an Intel or Mac hardware platform), but the popular ones are being ported to this wonderful device. There are two 2600 emulators for it (though niether of them are full speed w/ 0 frameskipping yet), 'Nester' was just ported to it, and it's great! I don't know about SMS or GENS (never had those two systems, so I didn't care about the emulators too much), but I know MAME is currently being worked on... PacManPlus
Actually, there is already one made - but it's *very* slow (I've already tried it - and removed it)
