johncena1973
I just bought the console today at a local flea market. When i plugged in only 1 AC adaptor, It can run both Genesis and 32X carts fine, no missing models. But if i plug in the 2nd AC adapter, it will crash and unable to load games plus shut down. I’m not sure about this issue, i tried to find on the internet and on here. But it seems that my case is likely the first one of its own. Here are the pics of it:
Punisher5.0
Sounds like a faulty aftermarket link cord. Most if not all are made wrong. I removed a pin from mine to prevent power from backfeeding through.
+-^CrossBow^-
Yeap..pin 5 I believe is what has to removed off the interface cord to prevent the power feedback with the incorrectly made cables. Console5 sells them with the needed pin already removed.

I found out the cables i using for this are actually the original 8, not 9 This even made me more confused, because no one on the internet before that i read has this issue. Most of them have issues with the 9 ones instead
+thanatos
Wait, I thought the Genesis and 32x both needed a power supply?

That’s what made me confused now, because this one i bought. I don’t need to plug in a 2nd adapter to the 32X, just only 1 for the Genesis

Kalani
If you have the have power Daisy chained you only need one. Some 32x had special splitter for it's ac/dc Adapter. Looks like you are using it.
