Nickrio1996
I am curious what I have here. About 200 discs, some with 4 or 5 game titles on them. Guy I bought them from said they were his uncles who was a game developer. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Nick
_The Doctor__
50 cents a disk on a super day 25 cents a disk is the average. This is a public domain and pirated disk hodge-podge. They were often used to get ideas or disassembled for code to be ripped and massaged into their own work. To be honest they mostly just played the games... Not much else to say here... due to age the deteriorating disks can lose their coating media and mess up disk drives felt pad and crud up the disk drives heads, this requires a good looking over and trying the disks in a double sided drive before using them in single sided drives. +Stephen
Hmm - never heard "pirate" referred to as a "game developer" before ?
www.atarimania.com
There's likely some unarchived stuff if there are 200 disks but it depends what you want to do with those. As there are labels, maybe you could take pictures of the disks so we can see whether anything is worth saving but it's up to you.
