Whatever color (and whatever character) you assign to this cell is also shown in the border. To change the color in BASIC, use POKE to assign the new color value to memory location 13312; to change the character, assign the new character value to memory location 12288. For example, the following statement will change the border color to white-on-blue ... POKE 13312, 116 ... and the following statement will fill the border with small dots ...
