Interesting collection and looks to be all copies of games.

 

Look to be all 2K & 4K roms.

 

Couldn't have been cheap back in the day to do that!

That is quite a bit of work involved there!

 

It is funny, as I never even knew this was a thing until I got into retro collecting in the late 90s and saw people talk about eprom carts like this. I guess this is one of the earliest forms of pirating games on console so from a historical point of view these are quite interesting.

 

And what is the purpose of the switch in the middle? I see many of the games contain two eproms to work with an upper and lower chips listed. Is the switch just to select between 4k games (One eprom only needed) vs 8k (Both U and L chips needed)?

Yes, the switch is for game size. But between 2k and 4k (not 8k).
