I have been able to continue using my PlusCart with the special Offline ROMs download mode whilst the API is being fixed. It's less convenient, but it beats waiting. You either need a USB micro cable or ST-LINK connection for it to work. It involves flashing the ROM file(s) you want to play to a flash sector on the PlusCart, and then scanning for the ROM(s) found in the flash area, and playing them offline.

More details here:

https://pluscart.firmaplus.de/pico/?Manual#offlineROMS

@MarcoJ

Can you test this new beta firmware?

Everyone else who knows how to flash the PlusCart with STM32CubeProgrammer can test too.

PlusCart_2.3.18.elf

Loading ROMs (and most probably firmware updates) are still working with the current firmware.

I have added a "static link" for a PacMac game to the error message:

Thanks, it was able to download and install OK. When running it has trouble finding WIFI access points. When I rolled back to 2.3.17 it was OK. Back to 2.3.18 it couldn't find any Wifi.

Strange I haven't changed anything there. But the IDE changed to new buildtools

Just tried it on another PlusCart. It's works fine, connected to PlusStore. PlusStore is back! I think the board I use for ST-Link has some issues. It had similar bouts of WIFI issues in the past.

Good point! I'll test here with some of my ST-Link only devices!

It may be related to the use of the internal oscillator that I mentioned a few days ago?

Yes,maybe. but we want to check why v2.3.17 is working and v2.3.18 not.

Good morning, I successfully tested this new version. Is there a way to release version 102.3.18 for Pluscart Duo?

I want to test the new version and the WiFi update on the PlusCart first.

I have uploaded v2.3.18 for the beta tester group to the PlusStore.

@MarcoJ your devices with the PlusStore-ID #596 and #818 are in the test group.

@Capellão your device #109 is in the test group too.

Hmm, on both of these devices, the PlusStore has said "Firmware download failed". Manually flashing ID 1286 to 2.3.18 worked OK before.

The devices you tried where #1325 and #1330
I'll add those to the beta firmware group

I added them to the firmware beta tester group. But #837 seems to be a PlusCart Duo, you will loose SD-Card support (including firmware update via SD-Card) with the PlusStore firmware. So you will have to flash it with a v102.3.18 (or higher) over the STM32CubeProgrammer later.

Don't worry, no hurry.

My hoster is taking it's time to investigate what is going on. In the mean time I did some further readings into the HTTP RFCs and I think it wasn't a good idea to use the Content-Length header for submitting the content length. The guardians of the HTTP standard have their own idea of what a "Content-Length" is for and who is setting/controlling it. So for the future we will use a custom header "X-Content-Length" to submit the length of the content to the PlusCart.

I have build a new draft version (v2.3.20) with a few more code cleanups and I included the supercharger bios fix by @DirtyHairy, which was ported to the UCA by @ZackAttack.

Access the plusstore web portal, there you will find your ID.

https://plusstore.firmaplus.de/index.php/apps/pluscart/

Or in the PlusCart menu "Setup -> System Info".
If your PlusCart is connect to the internet and the server API is working correctly!

For some reason I can access roms past a certain point, just downloaded the new firmware it notified me of. I was looking for tutankham, I also looked at games by alphabet and it's cut off at like 5 company names.
