Colleton
I bought some old floppy disks on ebay, mostly junk disks, but among them are some original game disks: Synapse Software - Fort Apocalypse, Broderbund - Lode Runner, Muse Software - Castle Wolfenstein, etc... I know these have all been copied in the past and I have them all in some form already, but I'd like to copy these disks to ATR files and I'm wondering what software I should use to copy them. I'm assuming that there is some form of copy protection on these disks and it's been decades since I've tried to copy a protected disk, so what should I use? A sector copier? Which one? I have both 810 and 1050 disk drives, but no mods to them (Archiver & Editor or Happy 1050). Thanks in advance for any help and advice.
TGB1718
If (and its very likely) that there is some form of copy protection, then a standard drive will not do it, you will need some form of modified drive like Happy etc.
