Numan Posted July 6, 2003 Share Posted July 6, 2003 My Vectrex is acting up and has two problems. 1) The screen is jittery. 2) The sound is giving back heavy feedback. Cassidy Nolen Posted July 7, 2003 Share Posted July 7, 2003 I would check the four wire connector between the two boards. Its a pretty heavy gauge wire, and it carries all the 5 volts/-5 volts for the two boards. I have seen that connector on the cpu board get cold solder joints and cause that. Also, check the T0-2 packages on the deflection board. Those have a tendency to get cold solder too. That's just what I have seen. Anyone?
