RobertB
Merry Christmas, C= and Ami aficionados! The Fresno Commodore User Group has its next meeting from 11 a.m. to 2:00+ p.m., Sunday, Dec. 15, at Panera Bread Restaurant 3590 W Shaw Ave. (corner of W. Shaw Ave. and Marty Ave.) Fresno, CA 93711 (559) 271-0104 http://www.dickestel.com/meet_loc.htm The main topic of discussion will be the Downtown Los Angeles Mini-Maker Faire which was last Saturday. Also we'll have the election of officers and the vote for a charitable donation. In hardware, we'll look at a newly-acquired 1541 Ultimate card drive, the Lotharek 6502Plus4 replacement board for the Plus/4, and the VIC-2066 -- the 35K switchable RAM expander with integrated SD2IEC from Jason Micari of Australia (presentation delayed from a previous meeting). We'll also talk about the latest progress on the Mega65 (clone of the C65 computer). In software, we didn't get to finish with all of the recent game releases for the C64, VIC-20, and Plus/4 at the November meeting, and so, this time we'll try to catch up, along with new releases, Frostbite for the C64 and Donkey Kong Jr. for the VIC-20. The Amiga 3000 returns with its hard drive full of classic software.
