eightbit
You know a lot of people ask me who they can go to in order to have their C64 or Vic-20 repaired and I always point them to Ray for good reason. He knows his stuff and is a true blue guy. Most of the time I can solve my own issues with these devices, but sometimes I just can't figure it out. Recently my beloved Vic-20 (which I have had since release) developed a display issue. I tried everything I could think of and could not hone it down. I sent it off to Ray and he resolved it in a day. Super fast turn around (3 days from WA to NJ) and the image is now better than I ever remember it being. I also purchased another PSU from him while I was at it because his supplies are superb. And, this is not the first time I have had work done on machines by him. He also completely fixed a rare PAL C64 board I had that had some issues from botch work from a previous owner. That motherboard is now working perfectly in a nice C64C case and connected in my setup. I have said it before and will continue to say it. If you have a problem with one of these machines and want it repaired for a reasonable price, Ray is your man: https://www.carlsenelectronics.net/

RobertB
When I visit Ray in a few months, I'm bringing him a club member's three SX-64's for repair. I'm sure will repair them nicely and put in all the SX fixes! I should buy some more Amiga 500 p.s.'s from him, Robert Bernardo Fresno Commodore User Group - http://www.dickestel.com/fcug.htm April 25-26 Commodore Los Angeles Super Show - http://www.portcommodore.com/class
