newTIboyRob Posted March 13, 2020 Share Posted March 13, 2020 Hello all. I have a 2gs monitor (with the 15 pin female connectors on both ends) so I need its 15 pin male to male monitor cable. The listing on Ebay is for "Apple/Mac"... but then from reading the actual description, it says that cable is Mac exclusive. Confusing. Is the above cable also usable for what I need since it has the same configuration, or is there another cable I need to get? R.Cade Posted March 13, 2020 Share Posted March 13, 2020 (edited) It's a straight-through cable, but only 8 lines are connected. There are some voltages, audio out, and other things on the other pins you may not want to pass through to the monitor, so I would make sure they are not connected.
