Rick Dangerous
I have a friend that likes to just strap in for the ride and enjoy a cool experience, a la 'Ocean Descent' Are their any other programs for PSVR that take minimal input from the player and just sort of let the user enjoy the visuals. Or which games are the closest to this; IE EASY and FUN. Many thanks for any recommendations. Just a warning though, some VR videos have too much compression artifacts and look terrible in VR. Two-in-the-Belfry
Eagle Flight is pretty low-key and has more freedom to explore than Ocean Descent. Paper Beast might also be good, but it's more surreal than the other two games. davidcalgary29
Astrobot. Definitely Astrobot. Yes, it's a game, and yes, you do have to be active, but it's just so darned delightful that it's impossible to dislike, and it's a visual wonder. Moss is equally beautiful and more tranquil. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/304067-psvr-experiences/#findComment-4632089 Share on other sites
zzip
Astrobot is awesome. Also Dreams supports VR now.. There's an endless supply of community generated content. Here's some that seem to be on everyone's must-play list: * Wipeout * Moss * Superhot * Beat Saber * Firewall Zero Hour * Blood & Truth * Fisherman's Tale * Resident Evil 7 * Walking Dead Saints and Sinners * Any of the Star Wars games: Vader Immortal, Squadrons, Battlefront 2015 (has a 20-minute VR mission, so don't overpay) * Farpoint with the Aim controller Some really good ones that miss the top-10: * Ghost Giant * Vacation Simulator and/or Job Simulator * Until Dawn Rush of Blood (note: this is a completely different game from "Until Dawn") * Borderlands 2 * Five Nights at Freddies Games that people either really love or hate: * No Man's Sky (I love the game, but it's too blurry in VR) * Skyrim VR * Tetris Effect (some find it Zen-like, others don't see the point of VR Tetris) * Dreams - Allows you to create your own VR games/worlds or play other peoples content. I personally think it's one of the best games of the generation. But because it's user generated content, quality varies a lot, and some people don't like that. Free: * Rec Room * Astro's Playroom VR 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/304067-psvr-experiences/#findComment-4723679 Share on other sites
sn8k
I love the horror games....... The Excorcist Paranormal Activity Here They Lie Home Sweet Home The Inpatient Until Dawn: Rush of Blood Resident Evil 7 Arizona Sunshine Walking Dead Saints and Sinners Blood and Truth is an awesome action shooter. I also like Super Hot, Doom VFR, and The Persistence. And in days, Hitman 3 looks like it's going to be some seriously heavy dope. 1 Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/304067-psvr-experiences/#findComment-4724859 Share on other sites

It is an AWESOME experience and the Aim controller makes it even better !! What other VR games should be played with the aim controller ?
