You may need to drill out or change the plug for 2.5mm as it is fitted with a 2.1mm plug according to the specs.

Ah cr@p - yah right - these things just literally turned up and they are indeed too small. I could source the correct plugs or find some adapters maybe. Had assumed they were fine after personal recommendations, (not blaming anyone here BTW - I should have double checked myself). :)

Incidentally I am quite surprised how heavy these modern PSUs are. I was expecting something a fraction of the weight heh heh. Feel very substantial.

I'm sure I'll get em working.

Edit: BTW I didn't think drilling the plugs themselves was an option and the metal inside is not a complete circle of metal as it were and I didn't think it would survive. However as I have got three of these PSUs and replacing the plug is an option I just tried drilling one out with a suitable drill bit.

It didn't go well.....  ;) Plug indeed cannot be drilled out.

So a replacement plug is the way I am going with all three. Luckily the polarity doesn't matter.

I think these will work:

10x 2.5mm x 5.5mm Male Plug + Female Square Socket Jack DC Connector

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/262321089247?

They come with both male plug (which I need) and the female sockets - but as it is cheap and there are 10 x sets it makes far more sense financially.

It says DC but I am assuming I can use them on these PSUs?

Oh pants, I am so sorry I didn't check the barrel size.

My brain isn't what it used to be.

Can I refund you?

@mimoAh mate no worries honestly - I should have doubled checked myself so please don't worry. :) Easily rectified with the plugs I've bought which were peanuts. It's a great buy considering elsewhere I was looking at £38+ per PSU.
