Game only boots to Atari logo, is it fixable?

I bought a 5200 Atari produced game off eBay as I wanted the box and manual, and already possessed the game.  The seller indicated this game was broken.  I tried it out, and it boots to the Atari copyright screen (indicates the game's title) but that's it, won't proceed to the game's menu.  Is that common and repairable?

I cleaned them plenty, it was Gremlins.  My assumption is an internal defect like a trace or something like that.

What difference does that make?  I know on occasion people here have repaired carts, that's why I started the topic.

You could open the cartridge and use a multimeter to beep-out all the traces from the cartridge connector, to the ROM chips.. if you think you have a broken trace. If you do find a break, you could use a bodge wire and solder in the fix.

Because if its not fixable then its no big deal if it was not too much.  And if its not fixable maybe I or somebody can take it off your hands if its not too much.

I'm guessing about 27 dollars, plus four fifty shipping, but that's just a guess.
