wfletcher3
So I have original Atari paddles. Just got a RetroN77. Boots up and paddles can pick games and start games from the ROM list. When games start, paddles no longer work. Anyone have ideas? Thnx up front. w-
Frank.Bullitt
Hello, Have you tried updating the firmware on the Retron-77? You may be able to change some settings on a newer firmware version, I know Stella on PC has tonnes of options to tweak.
wfletcher3
I'm running stella 6.2.1. Did that before I even plugged it in.
alex_79
What games did you try?
wfletcher3
Kaboom, bugs, backgammon to name a few. Tried about 10 different games altogether. All same result.
0078265317
Maybe its picky about what controllers it takes. If you already have 2 rangers there s an adapter. https://hyperkinlab.com/ranger-adapter-for-multiple-paddles-compatible-with-retron-77-atari-2600-hyperkin/ Edited July 17, 2020 by 0078265317
wfletcher3
Yeah, I'm waiting on the 2600-dapter for the paddles as well as a splitter, for 2 players. I'm not to found of the rangers. The sides around the paddles stop movement. And holding it doesn't give me the movement of the originals. It would turn way faster with the hand holding the controller turning the opposite way and give me full reach.
