NISMOPC
I am getting into burning my own EPROMs and I purchased a TL866II and it will be here in a couple days. This is new territory for me, so I am in the early learning phase. I have a question regarding the 27C512 EPROMs. I see there are several different speeds available 45ns, 70ns, 150ns, 200ns, etc. Does that matter when looking for compatible chips for Atari 8-bits? I see a few available on Mouser Electronics like the AT27C512R-70PU and AT27C512R-45PU for examples. Are there other compatible EPROMs or are these considered pretty standard and easy to burn? I will be installing Dropcheck's 4 in 1 OS switch into two different systems and want to make sure I get the correct EPROM to burn to. I might also venture into other projects where I will learn more, but this will be my initial first time hands on experience.
Roydea6
70ns and up. 70ns is a little fast and 200ns is marginal slow.
