desiv
OK, I think I am remembering this game accurately???? It was a game where you shot at airplanes as they flew by. I think you might have supposedly been on a ship manning an anti-aircraft gun? Anyway, the "hook" for this game was that the monitor pivoted! You had handles/triggers that were attached to the monitor. As a plane would fly by, you would rotate the whole monitor to try to track the plane and shoot it.... I remember this game at some kind of store (I think) at Oregon State University in the late 80's/early 90's... I think.... Does this ring a bell/sound familiar to anyone? I don't think I just dreamed it... But.. er.. It was college.. Thanx! Edited September 2, 2020 by desiv

desiv
Oh, that had to be it!!!! (Although it was near photo realistic in my memory, but I knew that wasn't the case based on the era... ) Thanx!!! What a creative game. Cinematronics makes perfect sense.... I would imagine that was possibly a tricky game to keep working, but I loved playing that... Not something you can emulate well with the true feel of the original.... ? (Well, I suppose maybe with a VR headset.)

(Well, I suppose maybe with a VR headset.) No problem! One of the Aladdin's Castles by me had one. I did put a quite a bit of time on it as well. Not sure if it would hold up today for me even with the motion gimmick.
