MichaelJMcKernan
Being technically challenged, I wonder if it would be possible to create a single piece of hardware that would play 2600, Intellivision, 5200, NES, and Sega Genesis games in one console? I know, I know, it's called a computer! But seriously, do you think this would be impossible? Has anyone ever attempted to create something that could possible change the face of mankind as we know it. I sure would like to try to do it, but alas, am but a dark ages man, technically retarded, and yet strangely excited by the idea that just popped into my head. JB
Well, the VCS, 5200, and NES could probably share a CPU, as they're all 6502-based(though the VCS used a crippled variant). Other than that there's no component overlap. It's just a bunch of unrelated systems shoved in a common case.
