Matej
Have You seen super cheap A800 build on ESP32 risc MCU for price of caffee latte??? HACKADAY https://hackaday.io/project/171578-esp8bit-atari-8-bit-nes-and-sms-on-an-esp32 GITHUB FIRMWARE https://github.com/rossumur/esp_8_bit YOUTUBE There is ESP32 handheld ESPlayMicro https://www.makerfabs.com/esplay-micro.html So my idea is to have ESP32 game console platform for gaming. Not just for us but for all people. Imagine your nephew playing Atari games on handheld. Or demosceners/gamers/homebrewcoders from another retro platforms. Maybe it will support our scene too. I will try adapt code to handheld. And 3D print case and buttons. And post here progress. Have anyone build that ESP32 Atari? cbelcher
Yes - very easy build with minimal parts. I had problems pairing the bluetooth keyboard and controllers - went with the IR options and they work well.
Mathy
Hello guys It's so small, you might even be able to put the ESP and the interfaces in(side) the keyboard. And if the BT stuff is on a separate PCB inside the keyboard and you won't need that anymore if the ESP is inside the keyboard... Mark2008
looks like fun, but do these fpga devices, and I'm asking in general about any of them whether mcc, or mist, mister, do any of them have a solution for emulating R: or P: devices? This one isn't an FPGA device, its a software emulator. Though, for the FPGA devices: no, though you could connect the ones with SIO to aspeqt or fujinet etc.
