Avid Fan
Years and years ago my best friend at the time had an odd Sega Genesis. It had a disc drive and could play 3.5 inch floppies. It had the ability to copy Genesis games (if they were small enough) and put them on floppy. The floppy games would take about 3 minutes or so to extract so it could be played. My friend got it from his sister, and she got it in a raffle in a bar. Now that I'm older I know it had a SMS cartridge adaptor on it (thats where we put the normal 16 bit carts to play them, confused) and the disc drive seemed to be a famicon disc drive. Anybody ever see these things? or did my friend have a one of a kind homebrew project?
Han
A friend of mine had a similar device for his SNES... Don’t remember much about it, apart from the fact that I borrowed his SNES and had a blast going through all of his disks
Hydian
Sounds like one of the backup devices that were sold briefly before being sued.
