mica1
Does anybody out there have any clues on how to play Frankensteins Monster ? I recently picked this game up at a garage sale with some other goodies. It looks like it could be a fun game once you get the hang of it. Godzilla
I wish people would check the manuals online here on atariage before wasting message board space... http://www.atariage.com/manual_html_page.h...wareLabelID=
StanJr
Screen 1, make your way down the rope on the right, jump the spiders and holes (or carefully time a fall down the hole to land on the raft below, if yer good! ), and slide down the rope to your left. Run under the spiders, jump onto (and later ride) the raft to the other side. Collect the brick. Make your way back to the top with the brick and enter the big blue rectangle in the middle of the top level (where the ghost lurks). This takes you to screen 2. Screen 2. Dodge the bats and place the brick on the wall on either side of the Monster. This will start you over again. Keep working until you build an entire wall around the Monster and cut off his electric supply! (6 rounds). Good luck! This is a primo game! Sharky
I have veryfond memories of Frankenstein (well Frankenstein's Monster is what its really called). The graphics were nice and colorful and the sound was great too. Its certainly the best single-screen platform game ive ever played. Unlike Donkey Kong where if something hits you, you automatically lose a life.
rasty
I've beat it once, it's not impossible but requires some perseverance.. like most games afterall I still like it but I don't know if I want to go throu it again! greets, Rasty.-
StanJr
Aw, come on, rasty. It's only six levels deep, and the first four are fairly simple once you get used to jumping on the raft! You KNOW you want to play it!!!!
