Not really a C64 guy There is no IEC cable involved, the BackBit intercepts IEC kernel routines and redirects them, as far as I'm aware it uses the DMA pin on the C64's cartridge port for instantaneous data transfer. TBH, I'm not too sure how such functionality could be added to the A8. It's not really comparable to FujiNet, both are different with different goals.
