Radiant Silvergun is one of the best games of all time and it is a Saturn exclusive. The sportts games are a lot better on the Saturn as well. Guest Posted August 11, 2003 Share Posted August 11, 2003 i have almost 50 sega saturn games and i got 18 atari jaguar games. go for the saturn. games for the saturn are graphiclly better, cd sound (altough jaguar only has a few games that can match the quality of the sounds) and you will like it more. my 3 jaguars are collecting dust as we speak. while i enjoy the Xbox and saturn the most (sonic R, sega rally, panzer dragoon saga, quake, hexen etcetcetc) while the jaguar has very VERY few gems. the saturn has lots of them. you only have to pick up the right game you want to play. this is cool Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Willard Posted August 11, 2003 Share Posted August 11, 2003 IMO, the jaguar is for collecting and for atari fans. There are few games for it (about 80) and most of them aren't exactly gems. Although i have spent more on the jaguar than i have on the saturn, i play the saturn much more. The saturn has plenty of fun cheap games (Loaded, Mass Destruction, Nights, Sonic R, bug, clockwork nights and etc.) while they have some GREAT expensive games (Radiant silvergun, panzer dragoon saga, burning rangers, Shining force 3, Guardian heroes, House of the dead and etc.) But its really up to you. The saturn has the same released accesories, at the moment the system link, as the jaguar does, and also has a VCD card, light guns, arcade sticks and etc. Also, most of the better games have been ported to the saturn (tempest 2000, doom, worms, rayman) and doom even works with the system link for the saturn, and im pretty sure the networking isn't as glitchy as the jaguars... The Jaguar is only a collectors item for ATARI FANS, the Jaguar is not for people who just want to have ''fun''. Im not saying it isent fun, but in my strongest opinion you should go for the Jaguar.
