juansolo Posted May 25, 2021 Share Posted May 25, 2021 (edited) When you have to custom make blocks and brackets it becomes impressive. It's not like you can just buy a kit off the shelf. It's kinda like when we used to WC PCs back in the day using fountain pumps and car heater matrixes. Also the PS5 may have issues down the line if Gamer's Nexus' hardware analysis is correct. There's one memory IC on there that's operating way out of spec in terms of thermals. It may be a calculated risk on Sony's part, but it's not like they haven't cut corners before and it's effected the longevity of the systems.
