I've replied in PMs, but I might as well post here too: In my mind, I was picturing something like the late 70s, early 80s dungeons and dragons style - not super realistic, but not anime/cutsey either. I'm not really sure, but more "western RPG" then "JRPG" if that helps. Super detailed art direction: a wizard in a passageway/cave/dungeon corridor... maybe casting a spell or something?
