About the ForgetMeClockII I did this long time ago back in the day (1991) to my surprise the battery still holding the charge but the software to set the clock after 2020 is having some issues. Since then I made my own hard drive solution implementing UltraSatan compatible real-time clock protocol on the ACSI port.

On a side note, I just noticed that your realtime clock is installed internally.  Great idea!  I always hated now much the ForgetMeClockII stuck out of the cartridge port.  This mod may be the next thing I do to my STFM.

 

Was that the Practical Solutions clock cartridge with the pass-thru cartridge slot?

The version I have is pass-through but made by Frontier Software in 1990 (see the image below).  I suppose other manufacturers may have resold it under different names.

I can't believe this battery still holding charge since 1990😲

I feel sorry for Digi-Key after 2+ months of waiting Digi-Key has this Panasonic BR-2325/HCN battery in stock ( 3,353 )😁.
