_The Doctor__
I've noticed that folks are starting to take notice of the driving force between many of us of the Atari Age and it seems to be they are starting to get it! It's quite interesting in print as well... I'd love to see more examples of these kinds of articles, can we dig them up? Here's a pleasant one. https://www.bbc.com/future/article/20190919-the-maze-puzzle-hidden-within-an-early-video-game In fact, many of the programmers of old are pretty keen at solving issues of the modern day programmers conundrums, and this is a more and more recognized fact as time goes by. Nice write up! Can we find more?
Mclaneinc
I remember reading (possibly this article) a while back about the maze generator mystery, certainly an amazing read and a total marvel at what the bloke did.. Will probably never be worked out.. Even by the guy who did it Edited July 15, 2021 by Mclaneinc

Even by the guy who did it Nice article, I agree with most of the findings, especially about tweaking till it works, I used to write games for the 8Bit and have the source code for an unfinished one, when I look at the code I really think I must have been on something to write code like that, but it's fun trying to unravel it all the same.
_The Doctor__
some interesting observations on the player side of things as well https://it.arizona.edu/blog/game-changer-video-games-and-real-world-problem-solving-part-one https://it.arizona.edu/blog/game-changer-video-games-and-real-world-problem-solving-part-two now play some games and come back with some of those problem solved examples! like these gamers did https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2011/09/110918144955.htm https://www.nbcnews.com/sciencemain/gamers-solve-molecular-puzzle-baffled-scientists-6c10402813 Could some version of foldit be done on some combination of todays 8 bit Atari and hardware? That would be the whole team doing a thing! Edited July 15, 2021 by _The Doctor__
