atari8bit Xformer Atari 8-bit emulator, how to save basic programs to disk?

I've been messing around in Xformer with Atari BASIC, and I finally managed to write some interesting code. How do I save the program to a virtual disk? I created a blank disk for this, but after inputting the correct save command, I get 'error -130'. What do I do?

Did you boot from a DOS disk?   If not, you won't be able to read/write to a disk?

 

Also any reason you are using Xformer?   It is very old and there are much more modern emulators available in Altirra and atari800

I don't have one, and I'm going to guess you can't download one without some serious legal issues. Also, I forgot to clarify I'm using Xformer 10, which is far from old.

All the OS ROMS and DOS disk images should be included with PC Xformer, with legal permission from Atari of course.

 

They can also be used on other (and better) emulators...

Or use Altirra's replacement OS & BASIC to get going.
