keithbk
Was in Cracker Barrel Sunday and saw the Tiny Arcade 2600 system for sale ($21.99). Other places have them listed for $19.99. Found a YouTube video of it. Does not appear that all games are based on Atari 2600 ROMS, but may be arcade ROMS instead. +MrZarniwoop
No games are true 2600 versions, but it’s still fun. Pac Man is the closest 2600 port, and Combat is interesting because it’s one player vs. the computer. Everything else is an arcade port and reasonably playable. Zonie
Too bad it doesn't output to a regular TV and have a controller port. Those arcade ports are good. Edited November 15, 2021 by Zonie

Waste of money. Waste of time.
keithbk
I don't see how it's not as interesting as any of the other Tiny Arcade releases. Considering this is close to scale with certain toy lines, it may be a nice item if you want your 6 Million Dollar Man Steve Austin figure to have a working Atari 2600.
+Nathan Strum
Definitely buying this. They're fun to have around as shelf-candy. Some are more playable than others, but they're all pretty cool.
jstrotha0975
The screen is too small for me, This is why I don't buy handhelds. Would make a wonderful plug and play though.
atarifan88
All of these tiny arcades are a waste of money. The darn things are impossible to play with any kind of skill. The only thing they are good for is to look at.

For that matter, I know dozens if not hundreds of vintage gamers/collectors who buy full-size consoles and carts purely to display on a shelf somewhere. Personally I enjoy the Tiny Arcade machines and have several. Don't know that I'll buy this one but who knows.
+TrekMD
I want to get one of these. They are not that pricey and it is just a fun thing to get.

As for waste of money, pretty much everything retro is a waste of money. Unless you are a reseller and do it for profit.
Video
I was thinking micro arcade (little credit card sized handheld) I've got pagan and tetris, but stayed away from the Atari ones because all those games are analog and I imagine don't translate well to digital. That's a pretty cool looking thing though. Like above poster said, I'd totally buy it to have as a prop for my action figure displays. I couldn't see realistically playing it though. It's not actually running 2600 roms, it's really more about nostalgia. Here is a youtube video I found that goes through all the games included: 2
