Mik's Arcade Posted December 3, 2021 Share Posted December 3, 2021 (edited) Ok, as promised, here are my final scores on Beauty and The Beast and Tropical Trouble. I don't have an actual Intellivision console and use emuation. I almost got to the top of the 3rd building. Those splitting rocks took my last 3 guys right in a row. I really ove this take on Donkey Kong. Can't wait to see if it finds a new home on the Amico Tropical Trouble. Yeah, this game is as hard as I remember. I love playing this side scrolling version of Beauty and Beast, but it is a LOT harder. Part of the reason for the difficulty is that the controls are not as good. In my first game I could not even get to the Bridge Battle and on my second game I died at the Bridge. I played some other bonus games: Thunder Castle - got to the 3rd part before the lizard men took me down Meteors - It's the Astrosmash version of Asteriods. Rather interesting. Ice Trek - I always enjoyed this game, but it's a bit dated now. I just could not assemble that Ice Bridge! I remember loving this section as a kid. I'm going to continue the Intellivision love by working on my Intelivision game. I'm going to play with music and sound effects today. I already polished up all the boss fights in the game and made them a bit better and also more random the second/third time around. TRON Deadly Discs: I didn't do too good here, it's been a while ... Bomb Squad: I have to admit that I had some help from my 6 year-old granddaughter, but we managed to save the city! And by popular request, next is ... Christmas Carol: We managed to save Christmas at least once! YAY! Microsurgeon: First I played by myself, but I have to say that it is a heck of a lot more fun with help a gunner on the second controller: And the night is still young! ? -dZ. Humblejack Posted December 4, 2021 Share Posted December 4, 2021 I signed up for AD&D and got a couple of hours in on it. It's amazing how much you forget about a game when you don't play it a lot. On the hardest level I didn't stand a chance. I used to beat the hardest level quite often. Pic has already been posted so I won't put another one on. What a fun day. HJ P.S.
