Atari Space Invaders - Sprite Hack

Going for arcade look and playability here.

 

No colors hacked. I'll take a stab at some color variations, if someone can point me to the right file offsets to look at.

You were looking for color variations? These even change when they march down the screen! Bottom becomes yellow and then red!

Initially, I was going to hack that version -- or the version that it's a hack of; but there are a few things I don't like about it; although the color changes are done pretty well. So, I decided to start with the base Atari game instead.

 

Actually, the Atari version's colors -- in spite of not particularly following the arcade version -- aren't too bad overall; but I'd still like to tweak a few things. I'm just not familiar with hacking colors on the 2600; I've got more knowledge about hacking Atari 8-bit computer and 5200 games.
