Jasoco
Hey, if I could fall in love with a clone.. It's unique. Not like Tetris. Sorta like a cross between Tetris and Dr. Mario. I think it's my favorite of the three. Though, they're all good.

Jasoco
One question. Are the bomb and changer items in the other versions? The only version I've played long enough to get a bomb was Candy Crisis and it has a bomb (Which removes all blocks of one color) and changers (Which take on the color of the block it touches.) I was just wondering if that was an exclusive feature to make the CC game a little more unique.
chrisbid
all versions released over here do not have any bombs. There is a special move with carbunkle (the little star blob in the middle of the screen) will change some colors of some blobs, but its very rare, and its not very helpful. Obviously, with all the sequels in Japan, there are a lot more variations on the game play, the series has never taken off over here in the US Compile created the series and the original Arcade game, they licensed the title out to other companies to appear on consoles, which is why you had Kirby and Sonic characters added to it, instead of a generic anime character (in the early 1990's anime was still off the radar). A few years ago, Compile sold the rights of the series to Sega since they were in financial trouble, sadly the company shut down its doors earlier this year. and yes, candy crisis is a clone, but there is enough variation, and mac shareware is hardly considered intrusive competition to the platforms that sega has released the game for. and yes, you can play SF2 on the Genesis with the Six button controller. In fact, it was this game that prompted Sega to release the controller in the first place
