Odyssey 2 Joystick Disassembly?

I have two grey launch joysticks that have the detachable atari 2600 shaped joystick plugs. I can't figure out how to remove the metal stick and the spring holding the pcb down to the plastic shell after i remove the bottom shell screws. It looks like it held on by something. Thank you for your help.

There is a small metal fastener on top of the black dome that holds the joystick shaft. Unscrew the silver top of the joystick then push down on the black dome to get some space and use some needle nose pliers to gently warp the fastener until it goes all the way up and off the joystick shaft. 
Then just pull out the black dome and spring and that should do it.

Thank you for the tip! For some reason I didn't notice the fastener holding it on. It's a strange joystick design with how the joystick contact points work.
